“Ovod” is a portable anti-tank system developed to destroy tanks, armored and non-armored transport vehicles, enemy troops in open areas, trenches, temporal field shelters or brick fortifications as well as enemy non-armored vehicles and infantry when direct firing at embrasure field fortifications within urban area for total destruction of enemy transport vehicles, equipment and manpower mainly located in field shelters, combat fortifications, stone, brick and concrete constructions by air shock wave as well as by thermal emission.
“Ovod” is a system based on RPG-7 (“Ovod-R”) and SPG-9 (“Ovod-S”) grenade launchers, upgraded by installation of high-precision smart sight with night vision attachment (optionally) and modern power supply system based on lithium-ion batteries. Standard sights for RPG-7 and SPG-9 grenade launchers – PGO and collimator sight for RPG-7 – PGK are also included into delivery set.
