The “Cuirasse-U” complex is designed for search, detection, measuring the parameters of airborne and ground-based radiating radio electronic assets (hereinafter, REA) (radars, data transmission systems, jammers, navigation and other equipment), REA position finding using multilateration, individual aircraft identification using signals of their on-board IFF/SIF transponders.
The Complex comprises:
Four multipurpose passive radar stations. One of them (any) is operated as main station of the complex. The remaining three stations are remote receiving posts deployed at the distances of 10-20 km from the main station.
