7.62х54R mm cartridges with LPS bullet are designed to engage enemy manpower and fire weapons. 7.62х54R mm cartridges with LPS bullet are used with PK, PКМ, PКМS, PКТ, PКМB machine-guns, Mosin rifles and carbines as well as SVD, SVDS sniper rifles. 7.62х54R mm cartridges with LPS bullet pierce 6 mm steel plate St3 at distance 520 m and bulletproof vest 6ZH85Т - at distance 110 m. The bullet is unpainted or the bullet tip is painted silver.
