The sight is intended to replace ТPN-3 (TPN-1) night sight, installed in turret of Т-55, Т-62, Т-64, Т-72, Т-80 tanks and APC BTR-80А. It ensures 24-hour passive target detection at the distance of up to 6500 m. The sight is installed on standard site of ТPN-3 (TPN-1) night sight. The replacement of the sight does not require any design modifications in tank turret.
