It is no coincidence that the first International Security Industry Exhibition "National Security. Belarus-2022" is held in the year that is declared in Belarus as the Year of Historical Memory and is timed to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War.

This particularity of the beginning of the international forum was the keynote of the welcoming speeches of the Secretary of the State Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Alexander Volfovich, First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Maksim Ryzhenkov and Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Mr. Stanislav Zas at the opening of the exhibition.

As of February 4, 2022, one of Belarusian military-industry companies held a panel chaired by the Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry Mr. Dmitri Pantus to assess the performance of Belarusian gun-makers for 2021 and to set out the objectives for 2022 for stable development of companies that are operating under the leadership of the State Authority for Military Industry.

At MAKS-2021 International aviation and space salon, a joint meeting and negotiations were held between Dmitry Pantus, Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Dmitry Shugaev, Director of the Federal Service of Military-Technical Cooperation (Russia), and Alexander Mikheev, General Director of Rosoboronexport JSC. The parties discussed military-technical cooperation, including cooperation in the interest of third countries, as well as activities related to Military-Technical Cooperation Program between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation until 2025.

During the 10^th International Exhibition of Arms and Military Machinery MILEX-2021 a wide range of Belarusian made small arms and ammunition was demonstrated at the booth of SFTUE “BELSPETSVNESHTECHNIKA”.
