At the end of February the Belarusian Air Force and Air Defense Force launched R-73 aircraft guided missiles (AGM) from MiG-29 and Yak-130 aircraft within the framework of combat training at “Polessky” shooting range. R-73 AGM were repaired at “BSVT–new technologies” subordinate company to State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus.
Creation of own missile is one of the main priorities for the State Authority for Military Industry, as Minister Dmitri Pantus declared on air for Belarusian TV channel “ONT”.
