SAMI Enterprises Deliver Advanced Communications Equipment to Troops
On November 28, 2024, a ceremonial transfer of advanced communications equipment and systems developed and manufactured at the enterprises of the Belarusian arms authority to the troops took place on the territory of the 619th base for the storage, repair, modernisation and disposal of communications equipment. Among the equipment handed over were modernised radio relay stations, R-185 Epokha command vehicles and more than 200 portable and stationary tactical radio communications equipment.
The modernization and development of the transferred equipment were completed by employees of AGAT-SYSTEM JSC and Agat – Electromechanical Plant JSC. These companies are part of the Geoinformation Control Systems Holding, which is a key player in the defense sector, specializing in the production of mobile control and communication systems for military use.
This latest delivery of communications equipment is the result of close cooperation between the Signals Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the enterprises of the State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus. All equipment is manufactured with consideration of the latest scientific and technological advancements in military communications.
The military personnel have praised the high quality and reliability of these new developments, which enable effective information transmission and unit control under varying conditions.
