Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant has brought another overhauled Mi-24 back into Army service
OJSC Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant employees have completed overhaul of another Mi-24 helicopter. This is the second rotor-wing vehicle this year returned to the Armed Forces in a completely different quality condition.
Each transfer of aircraft equipment to the Ministry of Defense is a significant event in the life of plant workers. Despite the restrictive measures related to Covid-19 pandemic, difficulties with supply of components, the plant employees were able to perform overhaul of the helicopter within the agreed timelines.
After overhaul, Mi-24 helicopter successfully passed a set of ground and flight tests as well as acceptance by the military staff and engineering-technical staff of the military unit.
The flight crew flew the overhauled combat unit, carried out a test flight and headed for the base airfield.
