The Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry carried out a number of meetings and negotiations with UAE partners within UMEX SimTEX-2020
On February 25 in Abu Dhabi (UAE) the 4-th International Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference “UMEX SimTEX-2020” was carried out that is the largest international expo of robotics, taking place in the Middle East.
The expo united 163 companies, representing 30 countries that showcased their stands in 7 national booths. About 200 different delegations and about 18 000 guests all over the world visited UMEX and SimTEX 2020.
The delegation of the State Authority for Military Industry headed by Minister Roman Golovchenko took part in UMEX SimTEX-2020.
Within the expo, the head of the Belarusian delegation carried out a number of meetings and negotiations with the UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mr. Mohammed bin Ahmad Al Bawardi and Commander of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence Major General Mr. Ibrahim Nasser Mohammed Al Alawi, as well as with the heads of a number of UAE companies. The Parties discussed present state of the cooperation in military-technical sphere and the perspectives of its development.
Taking into account the expo focus, joint booth of the State Authority for Military Industry presented goods and services of SFTUE “Belspetsvneshtechnika”, OJSC “KB Radar” – Managing Company of Radar Systems Holding and BSVT New Technologies LLC.
Many representatives worldwide, including governmental delegations, special experts and civil institutes familiarized with the latest Belarusian innovations and technologies in the sphere of development and production of systems intended for efficient detection and counteractions against different UAV systems.
Participation of the Belarusian delegation in UMEX SimTEX-2020 and its marketing and presentation work became and important link in military-technical cooperation of the Republic of Belarus not only with UAE, but with other interested countries of the Middle East, it brought good possibilities to the national manufacturers, strengthen current relations, increase trust and find new partners in this rapidly developing sector.
