“BEKARD-2” Unmanned aircraft system

“Bekard-2” unmanned aircraft system is intended to perform optronic terrain reconnaissance day and night, as well as to issue target designations to weapon systems.

Tasks solved:
• Observation within a preset zone, receipt of photos and television terrain imagery in real time;
• Search and detection of ground-based (water-based) objects, measurement of their coordinates;
• Automated tracking of selected ground-based (water-based) objects;
• Output of recon data to commanders of tactical-level units in real time mode.

Composition of the unmanned aircraft system (UAS):
• Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) – 2 pcs;
• Ground control station (GCS) of the UAS:
• remote automated workstation (RAWS);
• ground equipment of command-and-data radio link (CDRL);
• ground and air radio communications assets.
