Upgraded ADMS “Strela-10BM2” is intended to protect land forces against air assault weapons applying “fire and forget” principle.
Modern optronic station, automated commander’s workstation, communication and navigation equipment, night vision devices for commander and driver, night sight mounted on 7,62 mm PKMB machine gun, remote diesel power plant with starter-charger, heating and air conditioning system of combat compartment are installed in the combat vehicle during the upgrade.
As a result of the upgrade, 24-hour combat operation in passive mode, increase of air target detection range and time of continuous combat operation, use of various types of antiaircraft guided missiles, decrease of combat vehicle thermal visibility, improvement of crew living environment are provided.
Upon Customer’s request, combat vehicles 9A35M2 can be used as platoon (battery) command post, can be controlled using remote work station and be completed with a simulator.
All system modifications can be subject of the upgrade. The upgrade can be carried out during the overhaul in the territory of the Republic of Belarus or in the territory of the Customer.
