Another batch of refurbished R-27 aircraft missiles transferred to Belarusian Armed Forces
JSC “BSVT – New Technologies” – subsidiary company of SFTUE “Belspetsvneshtechnika” – transferred another batch of refurbished R-27 aircraft missiles to Belarusian Armed Forces at its workshop near Orsha. These missiles were transported to the Air Force base in Baranovichi, where they will be installed onto several types of combat aircraft, including recently adopted Su-30 fighters. The company has refurbished and transferred around 140 missiles.
In addition to R-27, “BSVT – New Technologies” is mastering the repair of R-60 and R-73 missiles. The experience of the company in this field has proven its high economic efficiency. For instance, cost of repairing one R-27 missile in the company amounts to 7000 dollars which is ten times lower than in the international market, whereas the minimum world price of one R-27 missile exceeds several hundred thousand dollars. Thus, taking into account ample reserves of outdated Soviet missiles in Belarusian Armed Forces, “BSVT – New Technologies” helps to save vast amounts of budgetary funds.
Belarusian engineers have got wide possibilities to use their talent and developed technologies, because many countries in the world continue to operate Soviet and Russian aircraft as well as their ammunition. Therefore “BSVT – New Technologies” has succeed not only in saving the national budget, but also in gaining new funds for the country.
