The 6th Session of the Joint Belarussian Cuban Commission on military and technical cooperation held (Havana, Cuba)

The 6th Session of the Joint Belarussian Cuban Commission on military and technical cooperation was held within November 16-17, 2017 in Havana, the Republic of Cuba.

I.M. Demidenko, the first Deputy Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Head of the Belarusian part of the Commission and Brigadier General Tomas Valdes Hernandez, Commander of the Cuban Revolutionary Air and Air Defence Force, Head of the Cuban part of the Commission chaired the Session.

The representatives of SFTUE Belspetsvneshtechnika attended the Session of the Joint Belarussian Cuban Commission. The parties resumed the results regarding implementation of the agreements reached within previous meeting. They also discussed prospective projects of future cooperation.

The Belarussian Party visited Cuban defense enterprises. The Parties confirmed mutual interest in further development of military technical cooperation between the Republic of Cuba and the Republic of Belarus. The Parties agreed to held 7th Session of the Commission in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Minsk. The Minutes of the Session was signed upon work results.
